My tiny 1940’s bedroom closet was crying out for a makeover. Loudly. Much as I believed the eaves that crowded my closet bars and head were vintage “charming” and ought to be historically preserved for future generations, and much as I thought there might be some salutary benefit to daily trips through the gauntlet of protruding cubbies framing the doorway into the dark disorganized interior, I knew that the postage-stamp-sized cavern of flotsam and jetsam had become the elephant in my master bedroom. And the elephant had to be hit with a bazooka.
That’s when I called Hannah Laatsch at 180 Closet Design.
But instead of blowing up my postage-stamp, the talented Hannah visited, listened, assessed, and created options. After a brief planning and fabrication period, it took only two days for the demo, installer and painter to transform it into a bright, modern, organized space. In contacting 180 Closet Design initially, I sought a company that would do everything: demo and remove the old closet, patch & paint, and design and install a new closet. For a reasonable cost. It should be easy to find a turn-key operation like this, one that fulfills all those needs under one roof and doesn’t hand you off to a thousand people —but it’s not. This is one of the biggest differentiators and strengths of 180 Closet Design. Regarding the closet itself, Hannah Laatsch is an extremely personable and talented designer who was my go-to for everything. She answered my many questions, was patient and flexible making changes, and followed through to the very end. She is delightful to work with. A true professional with an eye for detail. Her professionalism and that of the installer and painters (who left my home neat and clean when they completed their work) is notable. I am extremely happy with the result: a sleek, functional postage-stamp closet where I can actually turn around and find things easily. Five stars, highly recommend.
We evaluated three providers with an in home design and pricing session. The other two were larger providers and slightly more expensive, even with their max, advertised discounts. It's hard to evaluate exact like for like but with 180 Closet design we felt we got the best value, service and ease of doing business. Their designer, Hannah, made it simpler than the others as there are lots of options and upgrades. We were able to get an upgraded finish with 180 Closet Design vs just white for the other two. The chosen wood grain finish works really well with the closet paint colors and wood floor. Way better than just white. The installation team were not just workers but craftsmen. You could tell they really took pride in their work by how carefully they unloaded the panels and parts even before starting assembly. We are impressed and happy. We highly recommend!

We recently made a major downsizing move from a 3000 sq foot home (with 12 closet/storage areas) to a 1300 sq foot newly built apartment (with 4 closets). We knew we would be in need of carefully designed closets. We chose 180 Designs from 3 companies we looked at. We had very positive interactions with Hannah by email and Zoom. She was always accepting of our evolving ideas and drawings for our 4 closets and quickly responded to all of our requests.
Once we moved in with our new closets completed she came by to check on us and see if we were satisfied or in need of anything else. We requested two things and within days she fulfilled our add ons. The work team came in and quickly installed the changes and cleaned up afterward.
We have now been here for over a month and living with the closets…we are two very satisfied customers. We can honestly say that working with 180 Designs, and especially Hannah, was easy and such a positive experience. We highly recommend this business.

I had 180 Closet Design add drawers, shelving and hanging bars to my primary bedroom closet at Woodleigh Chase. I couldn't be happier; it easily holds all my clothes and linens--and looks great as well! It even has a jewelry drawer. They also added pullout drawers to my pantry and kitchen cabinets, which makes it much easier to see what's in there. Kudos to Hannah Hudson who guided me through the design, spearheaded the installation and even came by to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend 180 Closet Design!
180 Closet Design worked with me to create our beautiful custom closet. We had a space that required some creative solutions. Scot presented options with his software, which made it very easy to understand the functionality of the design. Scot + team was very easy to work with, their prices were great, they got it all done on time, and were flexible with our timeline during our large home renovation. After we moved in, I realized I could use an extra shelf and Scot’s team hand delivered one promptly and made sure it fit correctly. We love our closet and it serves our clothing + shoe storage needs perfectly!

I worked with Scot on three closets and a pantry, and he knocked it out of the park. Where other companies said something couldn't be done, or could only be done at an exorbitant price, Scot worked to ensure my vision came to life, while still offering suggestions to maximize the space. He ensured all details were handled, which was especially important when there were delays in a few components (not his fault!). His team of installers were also professional and high-quality.
