Erickson Senior living awarded 180 Closet Design preferred vendor status during the development of their senior living community Woodleigh Chase. Located in Fairfax Virginia, the leadership at Woodleigh Chase liked our reputation and wanted a local company to support their residents as they transitioned to their new home. We worked during the construction phase leading up to the initial occupancy, participated in the early information sessions, and were granted pre-move-in access to complete our work.
This eased the transition, allowing residents, most of whom were downsizing, an opportunity to customize their new home and have it move in ready.
This was not one size fits all project. Hannah Hudson, the lead designer on the project, worked individually with 100 plus residents over several months leading up to the initial opening, “While many spaces were similar, each resident had unique requirements. Some clients were focused on accessibility with custom height storage. Other residents wanted to maximize the utility of the laundry, kitchen and living space with built-in storage.
