Alvin came across 180 Closet Design, and reached out to see if we could provide the solution he was looking for. He needed some cabinetry added to his garage for storage purposes, which we were happy to accomplish. Shortly after, we came back and applied an epoxy surface to his garage floor.

Several years later, Alvin called 180 again because he wanted to create a built-in bookshelf along one wall in his home office. He was particularly inspired by the Zoom background of former President Barack Obama’s office, as seen on CNN during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He was so enamored with the bookshelves that 180’s owner Scot designed for him, and the professionalism of the 180 install team, that Alvin reached back out to have us do his closet next.

Alvin had his master bathroom remodeled, and it was the perfect time to update his closet to match. For Scot’s designs, it was really just a matter of giving Alvin places to put the things that are most important to him. As someone who works in a legal office, he really needed proper organization for all of his dress clothes.

Scot put together a well-thought-out plan, customized to Alvin’s taste and needs. Upon review, Alvin said, “I’ll take it.” He didn’t want to change a thing. His new closet includes LED lighting, glass doors, a full-length hidden mirror, valet rods, and an ENGAGE jewelry drawer organizer to hold his watches and cufflinks.

Following his closet project, Alvin brought in 180 to makeover his kitchen pantry storage. Adding pull-out drawers to the space makes it possible to easily locate items that would otherwise be hidden at the back of the pantry. Because he is all about organization, the intentionality Scot was able to bring to the pantry has made kitchen time much simpler and more peaceful for Alvin.

Our most recent project for Alvin was creating a set of bookcases for either side of his fireplace. The bookshelves feature glass shelves, integrated LED lighting, and quartz, to compliment the nearby kitchen.

Because Alvin wanted lighting, but did not want to damage the drywall in the living room, Scot added a remote lighting switch that is mounted to the wall to look like a regular light switch.

Alvin proudly reports that everyone who visits his home and views his closet is envious and simply must know who created such a spectacular custom closet for him. And he always tells them, it was 180 Closet Design. To schedule your complimentary consultation with one of our custom closet specialists, contact us today
